The STX Lacrosse Exults are the perfect complement to any girl's stick collection. Having experience with this particular stick will not only let a girl know that she is able to use a stick and play the game, but it can also help teach them the skills they need to make them a better player.

Like most lacrosse sticks, the STX Exults feature a scoop. What is different about this scoop is that it is a lighter, flatter one, making it more sensitive in hand and allowing it to flex faster and whip around the ball better.

Another difference on the Exults is that they feature a runway pocket. What this pocket does is allow for a regulated flex and precise pocketing. A kid who plays Lacrosse will have to learn how fast to release the ball from the stick by reading the ball and their opponents. Practice makes perfect and practicing with these STX Lacrosse Exults will give kids the ability to pick up the sport.

Something that really stands out on the STX Exults is the scoop. Though women have been able to use lacrosse sticks before, it is uncommon to see them with more contoured scoops. Other than really good defense, a good scoop makes a difference when playing Lacrosse. Since the Exults feature a more shallow scoop, they are much more responsive and accurate.

The main difference between the men's and women's sticks is a grip and a shaft. Though some people may have the ability to make their own grips and shafts, I recommend a girl to try a more traditional grip and shaft if they are looking to play the game. I would rather see a girl use a stick that has a reliable grip and what ever shaft works best for them.

The Exults are a girl's first lacrosse stick, but not their last. This particular stick is useful for beginners, men and women alike.
